श्री शिवचरण माथुर राजकीय महाविद्यालय माण्डलगढ़, भीलवाडा

श्री शिवचरण माथुर राजकीय महाविद्यालय माण्डलगढ़, भीलवाड़ा माण्डलगढ़ नगर से 4 कि.मी. दूर, भीलवाड़ा रोड पर होड़ा गांव के पास स्थित है। भौगोलिक दृष्टि  से यह विंध्याचल, अरावली पर्वत-श्रंखला के संधि स्थल पर विद्यमान है। यहाँ किले पर स्थित प्राचीन दुर्ग की मंडलाकृति व स्थापत्य इसके ऐतिहासिक महत्व को दर्शाते है। यह स्थान सभी  गाँवों  कस्बो से सड़क मार्ग से जुड़ा हुआ है। यह कोटा-चित्तौड़गढ़ रेलमार्ग से जुड़ा हुआ है। इसके साथ ही भीलवाडा-कोटा मुख्य सड़क मार्ग पर जिला मुख्यालय भीलवाड़ा से 50 कि.मी. पूर्व में स्थित है।आवागमन के लिए पर्याप्त मात्रा में साधनों कि उपलब्धता है।

वर्तमान में श्री शिवचरण माथुर राजकीय महाविद्यालय माण्डलगढ़ में वाणिज्य, कला एवं विज्ञान संकाय में  में स्नातक स्तर तक अध्ययन की सुविधा उपलब्ध है। इसके साथ ही स्नातकोत्तर स्तर पर हिन्दी साहित्य, भूगोल एवं राजनीति विज्ञान विषय संचालित हैं। अध्यापन हेतु  महाविद्यालय के पास उचित भौतिक संसाधन उपलब्ध है। महाविद्यालय का जन सहयोग से निर्मित भवन है। इस हेतु महाविद्यालय के पास उचित पर्याप्त संसाधन उपलब्ध है। जिसमें महाविद्यालय का जन सहयोग से निर्मित भवन है, जिसमे प्रशासनिक भवन, अध्ययन कक्ष एवं कम्प्यूटर कक्ष आदि के साथ-साथ पढ़ने-पढ़ाने का आदर्श वातावरण है। सत्र 1999-2000 में 123 छात्र एवं 11 छात्रा से प्रारम्भ हुए, इस महाविद्यालय में सत्र 2023-24 में 1300 छात्र एवं छात्राएं  अध्ययनरत है। यह महाविद्यालय निरंतर प्रगति के पथ पर अग्रसर है।

Institutional Values and Best Practices:-

• The college provides separate facilities for female students such as washrooms, a common room, and a motorcycle stand. It also organizes programs to raise awareness about women and child protection rights and self-defense.
• The college is equipped with a DG set, LED bulbs, tube lights, and a source of drinking water.
• Efforts to keep the campus green include plantations, observing no vehicle days, banning plastic, and prohibiting the entry of automobiles.
• The college takes pride in its well-developed and maintained Botanical Garden. It also focuses on creating environmental awareness among students and supports activities in this regard.
• Ramps and wheelchairs are available for differently-abled individuals.
• The college emphasizes instilling fundamental rights, values, and duties among students, making them responsible citizens.
• A code of conduct applies to both students and teachers.
• Prizes are awarded to winners and runners-up for activities organized throughout the year at the annual function.
