                   College History

Seth Mangal Chand Choudhary Govt. College was established in 1977 .The College building was constructed and donated to Govt. by Seth Mangal Chand Choudhary of Mandar Village which is nearer at Aburoad. The land for college building was donated by Ram Jharokha Temple. The College runs undegraduate courses in Arts,Commerce,Science and postgraduate courses in English,Hindi,Economics,Geography. Initially Arts faculty was started in 1977 and Commerce and Science  faculties were started in 1981 and 1983 respectively. Post Graduate classes were started in 2006. There are co-curricular activities like NSS,YDC,Scout Rover and Ranger,Women Study Cell for personality and social  development of students. The Students from this college are success in Competition Examinations and working in various govt.departments and some are enterpreneur in marble and granite industries.
