GEOGRAPHY AND DEMOGRAPHY

Neem Ka Thana, a municipal city of district Sikar at 27°44'12"N and 75°46'55"E  is located in the lap of scenic beauty of Aravali Mountains. Neem-Ka-Thana (station code NMK) lies on Rewari-Ringas-Phulera railway line. The railway line connects to Ajmer towards the south and Delhi towards northeast. The town is also connected by roads to cities like Delhi, Sikar and Jaipur. The Distance from New Delhi to Neem Ka Thana is 198 km.  This is also conveniently connected to National Highway No. 48 and 11 through the state highway 37B which passes through the middle of Neem Ka Thana city. It has a hot semi-arid climate (Köppen climate classification BSh), rain occurs in the monsoon months between June and September. Temperatures remain relatively high throughout the year, with the summer months of April to July having average daily temperatures of around 30 °C (86 °F). The maximum temperatures during the months of May & June can reach close to 50 °C (122 °F) with little to no humidity. Ground water of Neem Ka thana contain flouride and heavy metals. It faces the vagaries of mansoon during rainy season. The winter months of November to February are mild and pleasant, with average temperatures ranging from 15–18 °C (59–64 °F) and with little or no humidity. There are however occasional cold fronts that lead to temperatures near freezing.
