Government Colleges was established in the year 1968 as two separate units with the title Gyaniram Harakchand Sarawagi Arts and Commerce College and as Seth Moti Lal Bengani Science College,Ladnu. N S S orientation programme and National Sports day was organized by NSS unit on 29th August. Programme Officer Dr Yogesh Kumar presented the brief report of activities to be held through out the session. Principal C S Dotasara chaired the programme. Dr V K Singhal delivered multidimensional talk on NSS activities.Plantation was done in the campus by the volunteers in the second session.
One day camp was organized by NSS unit on 1st September in the campus. Volunteers performed shramdan and was made aware about communication skill.
University talks Aids programme was organized by NSS unit. Principal C S Dotasara chaired the programme. Prof K B Sharma delivered various issues of AIDS and advised the volunteers to make people aware in their villages regarding AIDS.
Badminton and Chess teams of College got runner up position in inter college competition organized by M G S University in the first week of September. Judo team also won three bronze medals in the competition. Principl C S Dotasara and DPE N C Sharma congratulated the winners for the achievement.
One day camps were organized by NSS unit on 10th and 18th September in the campus. Volunteers performed shramdan. Principal C S Dotasara inaugurated plantation programme in the campus. Programme Officer R N Meghwal delivered motivational talk on the occasion.

Athletic meet was inaugurated by SDM Shri Deen Dayal Bakoliya. Principal Shri C S Dotasara chaired the programme. He motivated the participants. D P E Shri N C Sharma presented the outline of the three days meet.The inaugural programme was convened by Dr Prem Bafna.
Two days “Sargam Sujla”, cultural programme was celebrated from 18 to 19 January in the college. The celebration was inaugurated by Principal C S Dotasara and guest of honour SI Shri Ashok Bissu. Solo, group dance,Fancy dress, Poem recitation,Debate, Quiz, Extempore speech competitions etc were organized for the students. Convener Smt Vinita Choudhary motivated the participants for their performance.
Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair was organized on 24th January in the college. Convener Dr Prem Bafna introduced the experts from various fields like Yoga, Education, Industry, Banking, Security, Solar energy and Insurance. The fair was inaugurated by local MLA Shri Khema Ram ji Meghwal. More than 200 students benefitted by the activity.

Interfaculty sports week celebration started on 3rd January. DPE Shri Nemi Chand Sharma presented the outline of the week. Principal Shri C S Dotasara chaired the opening celebration. He motivated the participant players to take part in various competitions with enthusiasm and sports feeling.
Mehandi Competition was organized by “Mahila Prakoshth” on 30th October, 17. The programme was chaired by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara and convened by Incharge Smt Sulochana Soni. The best performers were awarded.
On the occasion of the birth day ceremony of Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel, NSS units and YDC celebrated “ek Bharat shreshth Bharat” programme on 31st October. On the occasion students and staff members took oath of National unity and Integrity under the guidance of Principal Shri C S Dotasara. A rally was also organized.
A week long programme was inaugurated on 2nd November on “mera lakshy bhrashtachar mukt Bharat” theme to make students aware about the evils of corruption, on the occasion Principal Shri C S Dotasara advised the students to remain away from the evil habits of corruption. Students also took oath to keep India “bhrashtachar mukt Bharat”.
A workshop was organized on 7th November “Hello English Premium App” to make students aware. The programme was conducted jointly by the faculty members, Smt Vinita Chodhary and Shri Bheenwa Ram.
An extension lecture on “Importance of present education system in corporate sector” was organized by YDCon 11th November. Cheif guest Shri Narendra Kumar Dadhich, Senior Executive, Aadity Birla Group, Mumbai presented a multidimensional talk on the subject. The programme was chaired by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara and convened by YDC Incharge Dr Prem Bafna.
Narayan Joshi, B.Com. Part III and Lalita Swami B.Sc.Part III won Chess Championship in Inter College competition organized by M G S University, Bikaner. They also represented university level tournament held by Jagran Lake University, Bhopal. The Principal Shri C S Dotasara and staff members honored the champs.
A quiz competition was organized on women rights and protection laws on 14th November. The quiz was sponsored by National Women Commission, New Delhi.
YDC and National Health Mission jointly organized a workshop on “Beti Hai Anmol” on 17th November. On the occasion, a team of subject experts Shri Mahesh Ojha and Shri Vasu Dev Sharma demonstrated the various aspects of foeticide. The programme was chaired by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara and convened by YDC Incharge Dr Prem Bafna. The students also take oath to protect the girl child.
An industrial tour was organized by YDC on 21st November to visit Tapadia Industrial Training Institute, Jaswantgarh. In the visit, Instructor, Mr Pradeep Kumar Tanwar explained the aspects of Solar energy and its Prospects in future. In the second session, Instructor, Mr Ashok Kumar discussed the probabilities of employment in various industries. The visit was headed by YDC members and inspected by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara.
Seth Kundanmal memorial all Rajasthan Inter College annual debate competition was organized on 22nd November. 40 participants from all over Rajasthan participated in the competition. Laxman Vishnoi of Govt., College Nagaur and Manisha Bhargav of the college secured first and second position respectively.
Two days workshop of Arts and Crafts was organized by YDC on 23rd November. The workshop was inaugurated by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara and convened by YDC Incharge Dr Prem Bafna.
Under the concept of “ek Bharat shreshth Bharat”, a talk on “culture of ASSAM” was organized on 25th November by YDC. Shri Pawan Maheshwari,migrant and present resident of Assam delivered a talk on various cultural issues of Assam. One day camp of NSS was organized on 26th November. The volunteers took the oath to serve thenation with dedication. Programme Officer instructed the volunteers about various activities of NSS. Shramdaan was also performed by volunteers.
A quiz programme was organised on the subject relate to the G K of State partner Assam under the concept of “ek Bharat shreshth Bharat” by YDC on 29th November. The programme was chaired by acting Principal Shri H S Jhuria and jointly conducted by Dr V K Singhal, Dr Gopal Swaroop Sharma and Shri Bheenwa Ram. In the opening of programme YDC Coordinator Dr Prem Bafna discussed the need of the programme.
Aids Day was celebrated on 1st December by YDC. The chief guest Dr Yogita Saxena discussed various issue on the subject and tried to make students aware how to remain away from the infection. The programme was chaired by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara and convened by YDC In charge Dr Prem Bafna.
A fortnight long programme on various activities related to the multidimensional development of girl students was organized by the Mahila Prakoshth of the College. Coordinator In charge, Smt Sulochana Soni informed that poster, essay writing, Drawing, hair style, solo, extempore, dance, recitation, rangoli, alpana and salad etc., competitions were organized and girl students took part enthusiastically. The best performers were awarded at the moment.

Resource person Shri P N Sharma, GM, DIC, Churu discussed the process of development of entrepreneurship while sharing the importance of time management and discipline. The programme was chaired by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara and convened by YDC In charge Dr Prem Bafna.
NSS special camp was inaugurated by the Principal Shri C S Dotasara on 22nd December. Programme Officer Shri Pramod Kumar outlined the activities to be organized in the seven days long camp while Programme Officer Shri R N Meghwal threw light on various welfare schemes of the Government just to make volunteers make aware before going to work in adopted village and ward. Faculty members also witnessed the inaugural ceremony.
A rally “National integrity” and “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” was organized on fourth day of special camp of NSS in the adopted village. C I Kailash Vishnoi, Jaswantgarh lead the rally and discussed various issues related to the law and order on the occasion. Programme Officer Shri Pramod Kumar supervised the shramdaan performed by the volunteers after the rally.
NSS volunteers performed yoga practice under the guidance of Social worker and Bhamaashah Shri Jai Kishan Tapadia on sixth day of special camp e.i., 27th December. Volunteers also organized a rally against social evils in the adopted village under the leadership of Programme Officer Shri Pramod Kumar.
Valedictory function of NSS special camp was organized on 28th December. The programme was chaired by social worker, Shri Om Shankar ji while the chief guest was Principal Shri Bhanwar Daas Swami, Tapadia Government Senior Secondary School, Jaswantgarh. Principal Shri C S Dotasara and DPE Shri N C Sharma inspected the activities of the camp at regular intervals.

On the occasion of the programme, Principal Shri C S Dotasara motivated volunteers to take the oath to keep cleanliness all around. The chief speaker , Abhishek Choudhary CA presented a multidimensional talk on the subject in the workshop chaired by Principal H S Jhuria. According to YDC Coordinator Dr Prem Bafna, a good number of students along with faculty members witnessed the programme.
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by N S S and Y D C units of the college on 2nd October. The students, staff members and nonteaching staff of the college took the oath for Environment conservation, Clean India as well as Water Conservation. Principal Shri C S Dotasara addressed the students threw light on the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi.
Mohd Ilyas of the college won silver medal in 73 KG category in Inter-college Judo Competition organized by MGS University at Khalsa College, Shri Gang nagar. Principal Shri C S Dotasara, DPE Shri N C Sharma, and other staff members honored him on the achievement on 5th October.
Y D C of the college organized a talk on “Independent Employment and Entrepreneurship” on 7th October. Chief speaker Dr V K Singhal advised the students to be prepared for their own business.
