Greetings from the Principal, Government Girls College, Chomu

In Government Girls College, Chomu, we believe that education is the most important weapon which you can use to the change the world, and since the inception of this college, we have tried to equip our students with that weapon. The focus is on providing an environment which fosters building well groomed personalities of students. The town of Chomu is a central place for around a dozen of villages and this college is the first higher education institution catering needs of girls’ students. Here academically excellent staff members are not merely teachers rather mentors too who guide students to realize their inner potential.  Besides academics co curricular and extracurricular activities provide platform for developing and showcasing talent in different fields. We are exploring different ventures for skill development among students. We aim at building not only individuals with mere Degree rather  well groomed citizens equipped with human values. Many of the alumni of this institution are professionallyl placed in different areas.
