Metric

Weightage

3.4.1.

QlM

Outcomes of Extension activities in the neighborhood community in terms of impact and sensitizing the students to social issues for their holistic development during the last five years.

The College is surely understood for its solid society of social sensibilities and obligations. The staff and students assimilate this soul when they join. The voluntary participation of students in NSS, YDC, Women Cell and other extension activities make them more socially accountable through their consistent exposure to such programs on Social Service, Rural Development and community participation. Staff and students effectively take an interest in social administration that includes social work, non-formal instruction, sanitation and cleaning of surrounding areas, plantation drives, blood donation camps, teaching children in slums and other such exercises.

Social responsibility is an ethical frame work and suggest that an entity, be it an organization or individual has an obligation to act for the benefit of society at large.

The NSS unit of our college has adopted Nanan, a nearby village. The NSS program officer and the NSS volunteers organize various community activities in adopted village. The villagers are made aware about health and hygiene, cleanliness, education to the girl child, saving the female fetus, protection from corona etc.  AIDS awareness, women empowerment, social service to poor people are some of the awareness programs organized by NSS.

QlM

Institution has strategies for mobilization and optimal utilization of resources and funds from various sources (government/ non- government organizations) and it conducts financial audits regularly (internal and external)

Since the College is a unit of Government of Rajasthan, it receives major grants from the state government. RUSA and UGC are another source of funding. State government provides grants towards infrastructure development, books, furniture, equipment and construction of building.

The financial resources are utilized judiciously as per government norms. Audit from the State government verifies the accounts for feasibilities of expenditure. And find out irregularities, if any. Purchases or materials and services are made either by inviting tenders or as per rules of GF and AR.

Institution manages its financial resources in a very effective and foolproof manner. Guidelines and finance rules of state govt. are strictly followed. Each transaction is supported by the vouchers. All the collections are deposited in the bank and all expenditure, recurring and non-recurring, are incurred through cheque and cash.

As per the need of each unit of the college, the funds are allocated or grants are applied for as per state govt. and UGC schemes for the building/development projects of the institution. Income/expenditure is closely monitored by the accounts branch. Proper procedure for purchases is adopted according to the finance rules of the state govt. Internal and external audits are carried out. The Auditor General, Government of Rajasthan and CAG office of the Central Government, do the external audit. The last State level audit took place in 2018 and 2023. Internal audit (physical verification) of every department done once in financial year by the committees framed by the Principal at the college level.
