INTRODUCTION

Dear parents, students, alumni, well-wishers and stakeholders, I feel myself proud and privileged when availing of the opportunity of communicating with you through the website of my college as the principal. It was the year 2004 when this college was established as the first co-educational college at Jhunjhunu district headquarter. Since then, we have not looked back into strengthening this institution. Today the seed sown then has become a tree under the shadow of which more than 4000 students are exploring various branches of knowledge. The college has been scaling newer heights of development in the academics as well as co-curricular activities along with this emphasis on academic research, orientation of students towards community and feedback by stakeholders is the distinct feature of this college.

The college got NAAC accreditation with “B” Grade (CGPA – 2.36) in the year 2023. Thus, adding a new feather in its crown. The teaching faculty of the college is actively engaged in quality research by contributing as research supervisor, writing research papers and articles in reputed referred and UGC care listed journals and participating in International and national seminars, presenting research papers and working as resource person.

We have active and functional Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The IQAC provides the development and application of quality benchmark/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution. The college caters various requirement of the students by providing facilities of library with INFLIBNET, smart class rooms, separate laboratories for both UG and PG classes, digital language and computer lab, Rajiv Gandhi E-Content bank for digital learning, placement and career guidance cell, Wi-Fi campus having CCTV surveillance, NCC, NSS, Rover and Ranger, sports and host of other co-curricular activities are done for the holistic development of the students. College women development cell is functioning in the interest of the girl students. Renowned scholars of national and international status are regularly invited.
