DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY

1. About & Overview:- 

Zoology department is one of the well established department of this college which is well organized and well equipped. In this department, postgraduate classes were started in 2018 under self-funded scheme (SFS) and in 2022, alongwith this, postgraduate classes in government seats also started.The Department of Zoology has department offices, a store room, a general laboratory of Zoology and a laboratory of Entomology. Both the labs are clean and have internet access. Both the labs are also equipped with projectors for power point presentations.The General Laboratory of Zoology has a museum area in which models, specimens of various animals, and materials related to animals have been preserved. The Department's Zoology Lab and Entomology Lab have many equipments and materials for student studies, practical work and research.

Zoology Department also publishes a Newsletter “Zoology Times”( First edition in April,2022)  related to all the activities of its department which is a mirror of the work of this department.
