The college was established on 5th July, 1995 as degree College with classes of Arts and Commerce Faculty. From session 2006-2007 P. G. classes came into existence in the Dept. of Home Science. Presently this College is affiliated with G.G.Tribal University and is recognized by U. G. C. The College is accredited by NAAC in B (2.21)category. It is also a RUSA beneficiary college since2016
