'Government Girls College, Sirohi' is RUSA beneficiary College, affiliated with Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Our college provides innovative educational opportunities and student support services that lead to the successful completion of degrees and basic skills proficiency. The college fosters personal and professional success through the development of critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, cultural and social awareness in a safe, accessible and affordable learning community. In meeting the needs of our demographically diverse student population, we embrace equity and accountability through measurable learning outcomes, ethical data-driven decisions and student achievement.

 

Mission Objectives

 

Government Girls College is a safe, friendly, accessible environment where all students and community members may optimize their academic, research, career, cultural and social development.

As our College continues to advance as a dynamic center for life-long learning, we:

• provide degree in the arts or the sciences through Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur;

• offer technological services and support for students, faculty, and staff. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a high speed internet connection to allow the students to access the internet no-matter wherever they are. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only till class rooms but also extends to all the areas including library, laboratories and assembly Hall;

• deliver programs to prepare students for various  competitive exams;

• furnish support services for the intellectual and personal development of all girls students;

• foster a comprehensive and enriching program of extracurricular activities through Youth Development center and National Service Scheme;

• conduct community education programs that encourage learning at every stage of life;

•Provide opportunity to complete various skill development certificate cources through IGNOU during pursuing their degrees for career preparation and advancement;

• increase career development support for students, faculty and staff through career exploration;

• advance cultural and personality develop programs for the college, community members and promote inter-collegiate competition opportunities for students.
