Principal’s Note

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” -APJ Abdul Kalam.

Dear Parents, Scholars and Students,

On behalf of the LBS Govt. College fraternity, I heartily pose this as a welcome note to address the aspiring youth who are passionate about their dreams and prominent on their scholarly achievements. It is my proud privilege to share that LBS College enjoys 61-year old history and has had its fair share of expansion and growth to earn "B+" NAAC accreditation and affiliation with the UGC since 1979. In addition to the lush green turfs & various Botanical gardens serving as a self-healing naturopathy, the passionate mentors here,  nurture the individuals with firmly embedded Indian ethos reviving the Guru-Shishya parampara. The exceptional learning institute celebrates the unique talents of youth engaging them in various innovative cells- R&D Cell, Women empowerment Cell, Career Counseling Cell, Placement Cell, Anti-Ragging Cell etc. enriching their exposure, further providing them a place to connect, a space to grow and a reign to belong to. The college indeed draws from the students' power to excel in variegated aspects of life. The roots of assurance emerge from the legacy of plethora of alumni excelling in various scenarios whether it may be civil services, education sector, banking, political arena, businessmen, industrialists or entrepreneurs.

Actually, the primary fabric of every successfully knitted college is linked to the blending of academics, co-curricular activities, sports education, and life-skills development. Hence, LBS College's campus, athletic fields, Basketball Court and Football Ground, academic block, separate parking lot,  and canteen zone, evince such conviction boldly.

Subsequently, as actions speak louder than words, I assure the students of an all-round holistic development as this exceptional learning institute ensures a perfect confrontation between consistently reviewed curriculum and practices that ultimately make the student globally employable.

Blessings & best wishes

Regards,

Dr. Rajendra Kumar Singh
