          Presently, the college is a premier institution in academics for educating the students for the degrees of Bachelors, Masters, M.Phil and Ph.D in various disciplines.

Shrimati Narbada Devi Bihani Post-Graduate College, NOHAR is a pioneer co-educational institution in the region to provide opportunities for education to students coming from rural and economically weaker sections of society in and around NOHAR . 

The institution aims to educate young individuals to learn to surmount their weaknesses and limitations and set themselves on the way to the discovery of their potentialities of illumination, service and harmony. A substantive part of the enrolment comes from semi-urban and rural locales of the district.
