Realizing the importance of higher education for the inclusive development of the nation, the expansion of higher education to the small towns and cities of India was aimed at. With this vision, Govt. College Ratangarh was established in the year 1990. The generous philanthropist Seth Shri Tola Ram Jalan in fond memory and tribute to his late father Seth Shri Mohan Lal Jalan provided the Main building of the college to the people of the Ratangarh feeling the importance of the higher education.
