Teacher's Code of Conduct
A teacher is the guide of the society. It is the duty of the teacher to maintain his conduct in accordance with the dignity, ideals and human values ​​of the profession. A teacher is constantly under the scrutiny and criticism of his students and society; therefore, every teacher should take care that there is no gap between his words and actions. It should be the duty of a teacher to inculcate in the students the knowledge and constitutional values ​​of the pre-determined national and global ideals of education. The profession requires that a teacher be calm, patient, sociable, constantly studying and of a dignified nature.

1. A teacher should follow such responsible conduct and behaviour as is expected of him by his peers and society and as he expects from his peers.

2. He should manage his personal affairs in a manner consistent with professional dignity.

3. A teacher should constantly keep himself updated and develop himself intellectually through study and research.

4. He should be a contributor to the field of knowledge. 1. Must participate in meetings, seminars, conferences etc. 2. Must maintain active membership in academic committees, organizations of the subject. 3. Must perform duties of teaching, training, practical knowledge, research work with discretion and dedication. 

5. Should perform his/her duties in the form of teaching, training, experimental [knowledge collection and research work] with discretion and dedication.

6. It is the duty of a teacher not to indulge in plagiarism and other unethical practices in teaching and research and also try to discourage them.

7. A teacher should follow the rules of the Ayushalaya College of Education and the Act, Statutes and Ordinances of the University.

8. Maintain cordial behaviour with students, staff and parents.

9. Contribute to the fullest extent possible in the development of the college.

10. Complete the academic responsibilities of the college and the university promptly.

11. Help in preparing the application form for admission and give advice to the students as well as give them proper guidance.

12. 1. Should maintain fair and impartial conduct in school examinations and assessments.

13. Should fully follow all orders given by the Government.

14. Should regularly participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

15. Should be involved in community service programmes.

16. A teacher should protect the dignity of students irrespective of caste, religion, sex, socio-economic status.

17. Encourage students to improve their achievements and promote their all-round development.

18. Help students develop an understanding of national heritage.

19. Develop scientific perspective and sense of belonging in students and teach them to love nature.

20. Inculcate ideals and standards of labor and democracy, patriotism and peace.

21. Teachers should treat non-teaching staff and colleagues equally.

22. Teachers should maintain contact with students' parents through regular meetings and keep them informed of students' progress reports.
