HISTORY

Sh. Dharam Chand Gandhi Jain Govt. College Behror was established in 1977 with the blessings and donation of Mahant Chandra Swami ji in the memory of his father Sh. Dharam Chand Gandhi Jain ji.

College didi a humble begining with the faculty of Arts in year 1977. Later on keeping in view the demand for commerce education among the youth of the area, the commerce faculty was introduced in year 1992. Permanent affiliation for the faculty of Arts has obtained in the year 1993 from the University of Rajasthan Jaipur.

In year 2013 college started Master of Arts in Political Science.

Now the college is affiliated with newly opened Raj Rishi Bhartrihari matsya Univeristy Alwar. The college is recently corroborated with Science faculty in 2016.
