Sh. Dharam Chand Gandhi Jain Govt. College, Behror

Sh. Dharam Chand Gandhi Jain Govt. College, Behror, was established in 1977 with the blessings and donation of Mahant Chandra Swami Ji in the memory of his father Sh. Dharam Chand Gandhi Jain Ji.

The college began humbly with the faculty of Arts in 1977. Later, considering the demand for commerce education among the youth of the area, the Commerce faculty was introduced in 1992. Permanent affiliation for the faculty of Arts was obtained in 1993 from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

In 2013, the college started offering a Master of Arts in Political Science.

Now, the college is affiliated with the newly established Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, Alwar. The college was recently augmented with the Science faculty in 2016.
