The college started with the aim Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye which means to ‘liberate.’ The institution seeks to liberate the students from ignorance, illiteracy, superstitions, obsolete rites, meaningless rituals, poverty, cruelty, and thoughtlessness, etc. The college tries to make students educationally, socially, and economically sound and humane.
