Government Girls College Tonk is committed to promoting sports and physical education as an integral part of our students' overall development. Our sports program aims to foster teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness, while also encouraging healthy competition and sportsmanship.

 

Role
- Improved mental health: Sports can help reduce stress, anxiety and depression by releasing endorphins that boost the mood.
- Better physical health: Engaging in sports can help maintain a healthy weight, improve sleep and boost the immune system.
- Increased self-esteem: Exercise and sports can help improve self-esteem and cognitive function in young people.
- Better academic performance: Students who participate in sports tend to have better academic performances and are more likely to graduate.
- Developing leadership skills: Sports can help build leadership skills and teach important life skills such as discipline, time management and teamwork.
