HISTORY 

The college was established by well known  donor Shri Nandlal Deedwania in inspiration of Late Shri Bachh Raj ji Salecha (Secreatry Sab.). The college was inaugurated on 14th  August 1997 in Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Balotra with 120 students in Arts and Commerce faculties. The college shifted in present building during the session 2000-01. Initially Shri Nandlal deedwania donated Rs. 60 lac for establishment of the college. The then Nagar palika Balotra  donated Rs 40 lac for recurring expenditure for next three years. College received a grant of Rs 2 Crore from RUSA in 2016 under which new Labs and class rooms were constructed and various development works were carried out.

The science faculty was started during the session 2006-07 through Development Committee. Initially Government of Rajasthan allocated Rs. 50 lacs for construction of new science block and Rs. 10 lacs for science laboratory equipments. During the session 2006-07 six new class rooms and two laboratories were constructed under the Sahbhagita Yojana of Government of Rajasthan. In this construction 20:40:40 ratio was born by Government, Nagar Palika Balotra and Shri Nandlal ji Deedwania respectively. Two Class rooms were constructed by district collector Barmer under the  financial scheme. 

College was promoted to Post graduate college in session 2020-2021 and M.A. in Hindi was started.
