Internal Quality Assurance Cell

Internal Quality Assurance cell was established in the College as Post accreditation strategy on 8.12.2004 after the first cycle of NAAC accreditation, as a quality sustenance measure.IQAC works towards developing a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to enhance the graph of the academic and administrative performance of the College.
Objectives:

To develop the system towards improvement of academic and administrative performance of the institution through conscious, consistent and catalytic action.

To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Functions: 1. To develop the mechanism to accelerate the academic and administrative performance of the institution

2. Creating a learner centric atmosphere for holistic learning.

3. To enhance co-curricular, extra-curricular and social activities of the college

4. To eradicate gender bias to maintain equity among students

5. Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement

6. To nourish a sense of belongingness and respect among students for democratic process.

Values and understanding of social responsibilities:

To enhance the use of ICT tools in teaching, learning and evaluation process.

To monitor and supervise various activities of the college by acting as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality related activities

Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance cell (AQAR) as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC regularly.
